Everything you need to know before, during, and after your visit, from booking and cancellations to deposits, guests, and consultations.

Policies that respect your time

We keep things simple and fair. We ask for at least 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule; late cancellations are charged 50 percent, no-shows 100 percent, and we hold your spot for 10 minutes past your start time. The terms below help every guest get the full, unhurried visit they booked, and they let us offer open time to someone else when plans change. 01Before you book

Booking & consultations

How to book, when a consultation comes first, and what to bring. Tap any topic to read the details.

How do I book an appointment?
Book online through our booking page anytime, or call the front desk at (480) 798-4237 during business hours. You can also start on the New clients page if it is your first visit.
Do you take walk-ins?
We welcome walk-ins when the book allows, but availability is never guaranteed. Booking ahead is the surest way to get the day, time, and provider you want, especially Thursday through Saturday.
Which location should I book?
Whichever is easier for you. Most services are offered at both our Gilbert and Ahwatukee locations. A few providers split their week between the two, so book by provider if you have a favorite.
Do you offer consultations?
Yes. Free consultations are available for all aesthetic services, bridal, and hair extensions. Most run about 15 to 30 minutes, and there is no pressure to book on the spot.
When is a consultation required before I book the service?
A consultation comes first for injectables, color corrections, hair extensions, RF microneedling, laser hair removal, body contouring, permanent makeup, and paramedical tattoo. It protects your results and your budget, and you can start one on the New clients page.
Can I bring inspiration photos?
Please do. Photos help your stylist understand your goals. Your stylist will also be honest if a photo result is not achievable from your current starting point, and will suggest a realistic plan.
What forms of payment do you accept?
Major credit cards, debit cards, cash, and gift cards. Financing is available through CareCredit for larger services, which can be spread over time.
02Plans change

Cancellations & no-shows

Our notice window, fees, and the exceptions we make when life happens.

What is your cancellation policy?
We ask for at least 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice are charged 50 percent of the service fee. No-shows are charged 100 percent. The sooner you let us know, the easier it is to offer your spot to someone else. Call (480) 798-4237.
What counts as a no-show?
A no-show is a missed appointment with no notice. Because it holds time a provider could have given to another guest, a no-show is charged 100 percent of the service fee. A quick call ahead almost always lets us help instead.
What happens if I no-show or cancel late more than once?
Repeat late cancellations or no-shows may mean a deposit is required for future bookings, loss of member priority privileges, or removal from online booking. We would much rather keep your standing intact, so please give us a heads up whenever plans change.
How do I cancel or reschedule?
Use the link in your confirmation email, manage it online, or call the front desk at (480) 798-4237. Rescheduling follows the same 24 hour notice as cancellations.
What if I have an emergency, get sick, or there is severe weather?
Life happens. We waive cancellation fees for documented emergencies, sudden illness, and severe weather. Just reach out as soon as you can and we will take care of you.

Late arrivals

Our grace period, and what happens if a service needs to be shortened.

What if I am running late?
We hold your appointment for 10 minutes past the scheduled start time. After that, we may need to shorten or reschedule your service so the guests after you are not delayed. Running behind? Call (480) 798-4237 and we will do everything we can.
If my appointment is shortened, do I still pay full price?
Yes. When a late arrival means we have to shorten the service, the full service fee still applies, since the time was reserved for you. Arriving a few minutes early is always the best way to enjoy your full visit.
04Holding your spot

Deposits

When a deposit is needed, how it applies, and when it is refundable.

Do you require a deposit?
Some services do. Deposits typically apply to bridal, color corrections over three hours, aesthetic packages, IV therapy series, and first-time guests booking premium services. If a deposit is needed, you will see it noted at booking.
Is my deposit applied to the cost of my service?
Yes. Deposits are credited toward the cost of your service, so they are not an extra charge. They simply hold reserved time and follow the cancellation policy.
Are deposits refundable?
Deposits are refundable when you cancel with more than 24 hours notice. With less than 24 hours notice, deposits are forfeited. Bridal deposits are non-refundable. See the bridal section below for details.
05After your visit

Refunds, returns & gift cards

How we make a service right, plus product returns, gift cards, and membership cancellation.

Do you offer refunds on services?
Your happiness matters to us. We do not offer refunds on services, but if something is not right, tell us soon after your visit and we will make it right with an adjustment by the same or another provider. We will always work with you toward a result you love.
Can I return a product?
Bring your product and receipt to either location, or email info@platinumsalonandspaaz.com for items that were shipped, and we will help you sort out a return or exchange. Specific return windows and terms are confirmed at the time of purchase.
How do gift cards work?
Gift cards are sold in our online store and redeemed at either location, work on any service or product, and never expire. You can buy a digital gift card online and it arrives by email. Gift cards are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash except where required by law.
Can I cancel my membership?
Salon memberships and service-specific subscriptions require 30 days written notice. Spa memberships carry a six-month minimum commitment, then 30 days notice. See the Memberships page for what each plan includes.
06Family welcome

Children & guests

Keeping the salon calm and comfortable for everyone in the chair.

Are children welcome?
We love your little ones, and we offer kids services for guests 12 and under. For everyone's safety and relaxation, we ask that children visit only when they are receiving a service, and that guests without appointments wait in our lobby area.
Can I bring a guest to my appointment?
Of course. We just ask that guests who are not receiving a service relax in the lobby so the treatment areas stay calm and comfortable for everyone in the chair.
07Big days & series

Bridal, group & series

Special terms for bridal parties, group bookings, and multi-session plans.

What are the bridal and group cancellation terms?
Bridal deposits are non-refundable. Cancellations within 30 days of the wedding are charged the full service amount, and rescheduling depends on availability. We build bridal timelines carefully, so the earlier you reach out about a change, the more we can do.
How do deposits work for IV therapy and aesthetic packages?
Series and package bookings, including IV therapy series and aesthetic packages, may require a deposit at booking that is credited toward your plan. The standard 24 hour cancellation policy applies to each scheduled session.
08Medical aesthetics

  • All medical aesthetics services require a consultation and health intake before treatment.
  • Services are performed by licensed and certified providers.
  • Results vary from guest to guest. Not all clients are candidates for every treatment.
  • IV services are designed to support general wellness and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.
  • Most aesthetic services are not appropriate during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
Who performs medical aesthetics and injectable services?
Licensed and certified Arizona providers. Injectables are handled by our nurse practitioner and nurse injector, and laser, RF microneedling, body contouring, and permanent makeup are handled by Ashley. Every medical aesthetics service begins with a consultation and health intake.
Can I receive aesthetic services during pregnancy or breastfeeding?
No. Most aesthetic services are not appropriate during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Your provider will review timing with you and recommend a safe plan for when you are ready.
Is IV therapy a medical treatment?
IV therapy at Platinum is a wellness service administered by a registered nurse under nurse practitioner supervision. It is designed to support general wellness and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.
Will I get the same result as someone else?
Results vary from guest to guest, and not all clients are candidates for every treatment. Your provider will review your goals and health history and set realistic expectations before anything begins.
