Our approach to injectables

Your injector matters more than the brand of product. We work with a licensed medical provider and aim to give you a result that looks like you, not to maximize the number of syringes. Injectables sit within our wider medical aesthetics services, so we can plan your treatment alongside skin and body care under one roof.

Most injectable regret comes from too much, too fast. We start conservative with first-time clients and build over multiple visits. You can always add more, and it is far easier to add than to take back. Injectables are a medical service, so a consultation is required before your first treatment, where your provider reviews your goals, health history, and the risks, and recommends a realistic plan. There is no pressure to book on the spot, and a new client consultation is simply how we make sure injectables are right for you. Results vary, and not all clients are candidates.

Tox vs filler vs biostimulators

Tox uses FDA-cleared neurotoxins to relax muscles and soften the lines caused by movement, such as forehead lines, the 11s between the brows, and crow's feet. Most areas use roughly 20 to 50 units depending on muscle strength, and results typically last about 3 to 4 months. A lip flip is a small dose of tox in the upper lip that can create a subtle pout without filler, often lasting about 8 to 12 weeks. Masseter treatment places tox in the jaw muscle to soften a square jawline or ease tension from clenching and grinding, and tends to last about 4 to 6 months.

Hyaluronic acid filler adds volume and structure where it has been lost, in areas like the lips, cheeks, under eyes, nasolabial folds, marionette lines, and jawline. Depending on the product and area, it generally lasts about 6 to 18 months. We carry multiple HA filler families, including Evolysse, Juvederm, Restylane, and RHA, and choose what fits your specific goal. You can see examples of natural-looking results in our before and after gallery.

Biostimulators, such as Radiesse, Hyperdilute Radiesse, and Sculptra, work differently. Rather than adding volume directly, they are designed to prompt your own collagen to build gradually over months. They are often used for overall skin quality, jawline contouring, and the neck and decollete, and are planned as a series. Results vary from guest to guest.

Injectables FAQs

How long does tox last?
Most clients see results for about 3 to 4 months, and some see 4 to 5. Building a regular schedule, roughly every 3 months, often helps results hold longer over time. Results vary from guest to guest.
Does it hurt?
Tox tends to feel like quick pinches. Filler can be more sensitive, so we use numbing cream for filler and ice for tox. Most clients tolerate both well, and your provider will check in with you throughout.
When will I see results?
Tox usually starts working in about 3 to 5 days, with the full effect around 14 days. Filler shows volume right away, but final settling generally happens by about 2 weeks. Results vary.
How much filler do I need?
It depends on the area and your goals. Lips: most first-time clients start with 1 syringe. Cheeks: often 1 to 2 syringes per side. Your provider will recommend a realistic starting amount at your consultation.
Will I look fake?
Our aim is natural-looking results that still look like you. We work conservatively, and we will tell you when adding more would push toward looking overdone. There is no pressure to do more than you came in for.
What if I do not like the result?
For hyaluronic acid filler, the product can often be dissolved with hyaluronidase. For tox, the effect wears off over time, generally a few weeks for partial change and a few months for full clearance. Your provider will talk through options with you.
Are there manufacturer rewards?
Often, yes. Programs like Alle for Allergan products and Aspire for Galderma products can apply, and spa members may be able to stack membership savings on top. Ask your provider about current programs at your visit.
Is it safe?
Tox and hyaluronic acid filler have decades of safety data and FDA clearance. As with any treatment there are risks, such as bruising, swelling, lumps, and rare vascular complications, and your provider will review these with you at consultation. Not all clients are candidates.
Can I do this if I am pregnant or breastfeeding?
No. We ask that you wait until after you finish nursing before scheduling injectables.
Do you offer financing?
We accept CareCredit. You can apply at carecredit.com or ask the front desk, and we are happy to help you plan a treatment that fits your budget.
When can I exercise after treatment?
Your provider will give you aftercare instructions tailored to your treatment. In general, skip exercise for 24 hours after tox or filler.
When can I get a facial or massage?
Avoid facials, massage, or pressure on the treated areas for 1 to 2 weeks.
How should I sleep after filler?
Keep your head elevated for 24 hours after filler, and sleep on your back the first night if you can.
Can I use a sauna, hot tub, or hot shower after?
Avoid heat, such as saunas, hot tubs, and hot showers, for 24 hours.
Can I drink alcohol after?
Avoid alcohol for 24 to 48 hours.
Will I bruise?
Some bruising is normal. Arnica before and after may help.
When should I call you after treatment?
Call us if you notice any unusual reaction, severe pain, or vision changes, which are rare.
