General Questions

  • What services do you offer?

    Hair (cuts, color, blowouts, extensions, treatments), nails (gel, acrylic, GelX), aesthetics (facials, injectables, RF microneedling, laser hair removal, body contouring, permanent makeup, lash services, brows, waxing, peels), IV therapy, and bridal services.   • Where are you located?

    We have two locations: Gilbert (2206 E Williams Field Rd, Suite 106) and Phoenix Ahwatukee (16515 S 40th St, Suite 105).

  • What are your hours?

    Sunday: 10am to 5pm. Monday through Wednesday: 9am to 6pm. Thursday through Saturday: 10am to 8pm.

  • How do I book an appointment?

    Online through our booking page (Mangomint) or by phone at (480) 798-4237.

  • Do you offer consultations?

    Yes. Free consultations are available for all aesthetic services (injectables, RF microneedling, laser, PMU, body contouring), bridal services, and hair extensions. Most consultations are 15 to 30 minutes.

  • Do you accept walk ins?

    We do our best to accommodate walk ins when we have availability. Booking ahead is always the safer option.

  • What forms of payment do you accept?

    Major credit cards, debit cards, cash, gift cards, and CareCredit (financing available for larger services). Memberships are charged monthly to a card on file.

  • Do you offer financing?

    Yes. We accept CareCredit, which lets you finance over 6 to 24 months. Apply at carecredit.com or ask the front desk.

Booking, Cancellation, and No Shows

  • What is your cancellation policy?

    We require at least 24 hours notice for any cancellation or rescheduling. Less than 24 hours notice is charged 50% of the service fee. No shows are charged 100%. See our cancellation policy page for full details.

  • What if I am running late?

    We hold appointments for 10 minutes past the scheduled start time. After 10 minutes, your appointment may need to be rescheduled or shortened. Call us as soon as you know you will be late.

  • Can I reschedule my appointment?

    Yes. Rescheduling is easy through your confirmation email link, online, or by calling (480) 798- 4237. We just ask for at least 24 hours notice.

  • Do you require a deposit?

    Some services require a deposit at booking. Bridal services, color correction, aesthetic packages, IV therapy series, and first time clients booking premium services. Deposits are credited to the cost of your service.

  • What happens if I have an emergency or get sick?

    We waive cancellation fees for documented emergencies, sudden illness, and severe weather. Contact us as soon as possible.

Memberships

  • Do you offer memberships?

    Yes. Eight membership tiers across three categories: Service Specific Subscriptions, Salon Memberships, and Spa Memberships. See our memberships page for full details.

  • Do memberships pay for themselves?

    For most regular clients, yes within the first month. The math depends on which services you use. See our memberships page for example math.

  • Can I cancel my membership?

    Salon memberships and service specific subscriptions: 30 days written notice. Spa memberships: 6 month minimum commitment, then 30 days notice.

  • Can I gift a membership?

    Yes. Memberships make great gifts. Call us to set up.

Hair Services

  • Do I need a consultation before color?

    For color corrections, color changes, balayage from previous box color, or first time visits with significant color goals, yes. For maintenance and routine refresh, usually no. Call us if you are unsure.

  • How long does a balayage take?

    Most balayage services run 2.5 to 4 hours. We block the right amount of time when you book.

  • Can I bring photos for inspiration?

    Yes please. Photos help us understand exactly what you want. Realistic expectations matter though, and your stylist will tell you if a photo goal is not achievable from your current starting point.

  • Do you do extensions?

    Yes. Hand tied, tape in, and K tip extensions. Free consultations include color matching and a quote.

Aesthetics, Injectables, and Med Spa

  • Who performs my aesthetic services?

    AZ licensed and certified providers. Marilyn (Nurse Practitioner) and Brittney (Nurse Injector) handle injectables. Hadlea and Charlotte handle facials, peels, brows, and waxing. Ashley handles laser hair removal, RF microneedling, body contouring, and permanent makeup.

  • Do you offer free consultations for aesthetic services?

    Yes. All injectable, laser, RF microneedling, body contouring, and permanent makeup services include free consultations.

  • What is the difference between filler and biostimulators?

    Filler adds volume directly. Biostimulators trigger your body to produce its own collagen over months. Different mechanisms, different results, different lasting time. See our injectables and aesthetic packages pages for full details.

  • Are aesthetic services safe?

    Yes when performed by licensed providers using FDA cleared products with proper protocols. Risks vary by service and are reviewed during your consultation.

  • Can I get aesthetic services during pregnancy?

    No. Most aesthetic services are not appropriate during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Wait until after.

IV Therapy

  • Who administers IV therapy?

    A Registered Nurse, supervised by our Nurse Practitioner.

  • How long does an IV drip take?

    Most IV drips take 30 to 60 minutes. NAD+ infusions take 2 to 4 hours.

  • Is IV therapy a wellness service or medical treatment?

    IV therapy at Platinum is a wellness service. We do not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent disease. Talk with your healthcare provider before starting any new IV therapy if you have a medical condition.

  • Do you offer NAD+?

    Yes. NAD+ infusions in single sessions and multi session series. See our NAD+ page or main IV therapy page for details.

Gift Cards

  • Do you sell gift cards?

    Yes. Gift cards work on any service or product, at both locations, with no expiration.

  • Can I buy a gift card online?

    Yes. Purchase through our gift cards page. Digital gift cards delivered by email instantly.

  • Do gift cards expire?

    No. Use the balance whenever you are ready.
